Who We Are
Justice Data Solutions ( Text & Data Technologies ) was founded in 1978. Our focus then was a word processing system that also doubled as programmable mini computer. Our target market was primarily hospitals, law firms and commercial businesses. Our goal was to provide first-class on-site support for both hardware and software, as well as user and administrator training.
Through the 1980’s we added a staff of programmers and began creating custom applications for County Jails and Prosecutors. We developed two (2) statewide applications: COPS, our prosecution management application, which runs in over forty Ohio prosecutor’s; JAMIN, our Jail management application, which is installed in thirty five (30) jails in Ohio and Michigan, sixty(60) county jails in the state of Nebraska. WE currently have 25 Law Enforcement Agencies in Nebraska and Oregon using our Records Management Application complete with CAD and integrated Mapping.
We have also created a Crime Lab Management System and an Animal Shelter Management System for County Sheriff's who are responsible for the county animal shelter.

We are currently implementing the 4th major release of these Criminal Justice Solutions. Our solutions are truly OPEN SOURCE, as we have integrated the industry leading OPEN SOURCE modules into a cohesive, tightly coupled platform for our development and application deployment.
Through this evolution, we have maintained our ability to provide turnkey hardware and software solutions, as well as software-only solutions to our customers.
